A Guide Book on Neuroanatomy

Knowledge of human neuroanatomy is becoming increasingly more important for procedures to treat central nervous system diseases. Therapeutic electrophysiological interventions target specific brain regions, such as deep brain stimulation of the basal ganglia for Parkinson disease. An important goal of Neuroanatomy book is to prepare the reader for interpreting the new wealth of human brain images, structural, functional, and connectivity by developing an understanding of the anatomical localization of brain functions. This book provide students with an accurate, clear written, and expertly illustrated presentation of the neuroanatomical structures necessary for the practice of medicine. It is suitable for medical students, dental students, nurses, and allied health students. Residents find this book useful during their rotations.
