International Research In The Field Of Linguistics - 1

International Research in the Field of Linguistics-I introduces readers to the studies in macrolinguistics which subsumes Visual Discourse Analysis, Neuropragmatics, Applied Linguistics, Sociolinguistics, Psycholinguistics, Pragmatics, Language Acquisition, Corpus Linguistics, and Cognitive Linguistics. This book also demonstrates that linguistic studies are not only limited to microlinguistics like phonology, phonetics, syntax, stylistics, and semantics. The chapters in International Research in the Field of Linguistics-I also reveal how macrolinguistic studies are conducted across a wide spectrum, and the suggestions at the end of each chapter provide guidance for future research in the field. Taken as awhole, International Research in the Field of Linguistics-I reveals the differences and similarities in the use of language in different situations, settings and cultures through comparative studies conducted with local and international participants in the research in the chapters. It is thought that this book can contribute to contemporary linguistic studies.
