The Record Button

You know we were saying just now, how we lived everything to the full when we were kids, how we felt it in every cell ? So now, I press the record button whenever I enjoy a moment in order to remember it later. I guess this is what they mean by mindfulness in West. Being aware of the moment, grabbing it, staying in it. Doing justice to life, in manner of speaking.’ The Record Button tells the story of women with intertwined secrets trying to define themselves on the journey of life. As they query love and meaning of life, they are tested by surprises, some nice, other nasty. Do you resort to lies to cope with intolerable truths ? Does growing up necessitate passing through the burning circle that is truth ? When you trip and fall, how do you find the strength to get back up ? And the real question : Can you risk playing the roles you want instead of accepting what life hands out ? The Record Button is a fluent first novel about heroines who long to become themselves.
